Our Process

Document Preparation

Before your appointment, make sure the document is fully completed but unsigned. Notaries cannot notarize documents that have blank spaces or have been pre-signed. Ensure the information is accurate and all necessary parties are present.

Valid Identification

For the notarization to be valid, you must bring a government-issued photo ID. This can include a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID. The notary will verify your identity before proceeding.

In-Person Signing

You must sign the document in the presence of the notary. The notary will witness the signature to ensure it’s authentic and done voluntarily. If others are involved, they must also be present with their ID to sign.

Notary Review

The notary will carefully review the document to confirm it meets legal standards. They’ll ensure the signer understands the document and isn’t under duress or coercion.

Notary Seal and Signature

Once everything is in order, the notary will apply their official seal and signature to the document, certifying its authenticity. This step makes the document legally binding.

Payment and Completion

After notarization, you’ll finalize payment, and the process is complete. You’ll receive your fully notarized document ready for its intended use, whether for legal, financial, or personal matters.
